Jill grew up moving every four years. She was born in Japan, raised across California, South Carolina, and Arizona, following her Air Force dad from place to place. Though she's lived many places, she calls Arizona home. Moving to Chicago after college brought her to Just One. From the very first conversation, she knew it was where she wanted to stay. She joined the Just One staff in October 2025. Her background in communications, her years of loving Spanish, and even her degree all shaped her ambition. Each thread of her life quietly prepared her for the role she's in today.
As Communications Director, Jill's goal is to represent Just One accurately and beautifully. She wants her work to that tug at your heart and spark a desire to join the mission.
A lifelong reader and learner, Jill considers it a privilege to have access to good education. A season of online school made her feel the absence of the classroom and community. When she returned years later, it reignited something in her. She suddenly just how much she craved the challenge of learning something new. She's never been the same since.
When she isn't working, Jill is most likely in the kitchen, reading a book, or going on an adventure. From trips to Honduras to flights home to Arizona, she manages to cover a lot of ground.
