I grew up in Des Plaines, Illinois, and have lived here my entire life. I recently graduated from Maine West High School and am now attending Oakton Community College. My goal is to earn a master’s degree in occupational therapy. My journey with Just One came naturally. I met Missions Director, Sarah, while attending my church’s high school group. Toward the end of my senior year, Sarah approached me about interviewing for an internship at Just One. After learning more about the organization and its mission, I knew I wanted to be a part of this amazing community. I’m so grateful for the opportunity to continue growing and serving with Just One.

Outside of Just One, I love spending time with friends, reading, crocheting, and watching movies. I love discovering hidden gems in books and movies that I’ve never experienced before.

Just One has become such a meaningful part of my life. Not only have I been fortunate enough to have amazing mentors who continue to teach and encourage me, but I’ve also found a sense of family, both in the office and outside of it. Learning and experiencing this work firsthand in Honduras has changed me and helped me grow as a person. I’m incredibly grateful for the experiences, relationships, and opportunities I’ve gained here. I’m so glad to be a part of the Just One family.
