vince aguilar

Vince grew up in southern California, where he spent his time with family and friends, playing basketball in the neighborhood, playing football at school, and traveling to Mexico to see relatives. He now lives in Illinois and is the Director of Sales at Aloha Construction, a company specializing in roofing and home exteriors.

Vince first learned about Just One through its golf benefit and through Pastor Denim. What started as a fun day on the course grew over the past year into a deeper desire to connect with Just One beyond his monthly giving. He now serves on the Just One board, where his construction skills are paramount to Just One’s building projects.

His grandmother, whom he calls “his ita,” shaped him more than anyone. She was the heart of their family and taught him perseverance, quiet strength, and what unconditional love looks like, always showing up for family and friends because sometimes it really does take a village. Vince credits her for his sense of humor and positive outlook on life. Friends and coworkers know they can call on him anytime, whether to shoot the breeze or ask for advice, and a room with Vince and his friends is usually filled with laughter and talk about golf.
